To help young people make the right choices at the right time enabling them to lead successful and healthy lives.
Work and Achievements
Etasha Society was founded in 2006 with a vision for every young Indian to be employable, have self-worth and lead a dignified and productive life. We work with marginalized youth, training them to be career ready through experiential, interactive and participatory programs that develop skills, and focus on building confidence, positivity and openness to learning. We then place our trainees in organizations which offer good opportunities for growth, enabling them to become economically empowered and take control of their lives.
With placed trainees bringing in a regular salary, often the family income more than doubles. This in turn improves nutrition levels of the whole family and provides for better education of younger siblings, Thereby improving the overall well-being of the whole family. An impact we are striving very hard to achieve relates to changing the traditional mind-set about employment for girls.
