Skilling youth from underserved communities. Enabling them to become employable and employed.
Work and Achievements
ETASHA Society was founded in 2006 with a vision for every young Indian to be employable, have self-worth, and lead a dignified and productive life. Our experiential, interactive and participatory programmes work towards empowering youth from underserved communities by enabling them to become employable.
We have reached out to over 15,100 beneficiaries through our job-linked skill development & placement, career guidance, training of trainers, and employability skills training programmes for students in ITIs (Industrial Training Institutes).
Currently, we run three Career Development Centers in Delhi in MadanpurKhadar, Khanpurand Mangolpuri which are large slum and slum resettlement clusters in Delhi. We also operate in four NGO partner locations in the NCR region and at several partner sites in Jaipur. We have executed projects in Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana.
This has been possible because of accreditation from Guidestar, Credibility Alliance, CAF and Give India and project support by Organisations like Accenture, Asha For Education, Bain & Company, Barclays Shared services, CFL, DRI, FLO, Futures First, GAIL, HDFC Bank, Images Bazaar, Littelfuse, Maruti Udyog Ltd, Microsoft, Pitney Bowes Software India, Sapient, Sheela Foam, Tata Capital, Tata Communications Ltd, Tech Mahindra Foundation, XL and UNODC.
