Work and Achievements
Joining Hands, a not for profit organization was launched in 2006 with a vision to sensitize the youth by imparting education, training and developing skills through various youth empowerment initiatives.
Joining Hands through its Training Centre in Badarpur, New Delhi focuses on enhancing employability & skill development.
Our Initiatives are as follows:
- Comprehensive Training Programme for entry level jobs: This training programme is designed to enhance the employability of the urban poor youth by training them in computers, soft skills and english to enable them to get entry level jobs in diverse sectors.
- Hospitality Skill Development Programme: This specialized training programme in hospitality aims to train and equip underprivileged women with necessary skills which will empower them to find jobs in the steadily growing hospitality sector.
- Joining Hands Scholarship Programme: This programme has been established to facilitate the education of meritorious students from the less privileged section to pursue higher education.
