We provide exemplary education, nutritious meals, free healthcare and skill development to urban poor in Gurgaon.

Work and Achievements

Lotus Petal Charitable Foundation is a charitable trust with a vision to create enriching environments for the under privileged. We are dedicated to building critical connections for harmonious co-existence of different social strata of urban Indian.

Established in 2011 by a team of enterprising professionals, we run programmes in areas of education, healthcare and livelihood. Programmes are strategically designed with uniqueness, measurable outcomes, quality, scalability and sustainability.

Lotus Petal started with one class of 7 students. In 2016 Lotus Petal is flourishing with 300 students and comprises of classes from Kindergarten to grade 12. Our first batch of students have successfully completed the Class X board examinations.

  1. Vidyananda School: Vidyananda in Hindi means “Joy of Education”. It is the primary section of Lotus Petal that runs classes from KG to Grade 5. We follow the NCERT guidelines for the in class curriculum. Medium of education is English with special attention to spelling and handwriting skills. Theatre, use of library & performing arts help develop the language & inter personal skills of a child.
  2.  Pratishthan Learning Center: Pratishthan Learning Center is the secondary section that runs from Grade VI to Grade XII. Students then move into professional courses or jobs based on vocational skills after their interest and ability is gauged
  3. Aarogya Wellness: a healthcare program that provides free food & medical access to our students. We give fresh, clean & a well-balanced breakfast and lunch every day to each student. Their entire family gets access to free medical services through regular doctor visits, free OPD that takes care of primary/secondary healthcare. Over 3000 cases have been treated so far, including 2 heart surgeries.

Over 300 children and 3000+ adults served under various programmes.
