    Mobility India is a registered society that is committed to ensure that people with disabilities have equal rights and a good quality of life. They have been actively participating in the World 10K since 2009. So far, they have had 279 runners with a total of Rs 22, 57,602 over the years.

     

    This has helped to provide education to 510 people with disabilities, and 200 people have given employment opportunities. A number of 5000 children have received education support.

     Cauvery Baliamada talks about her painstaking, but an incredible journey into the world of fundraising. Her experience was tough  and lead her to feel demotivated on certain occasions.     The event has supported to raise a staggering figure of Rs 30, 47, 922 since 2009. In the previous year they managed to raise Rs 8, 89,895.

    The fund has been utilized to:
    a. Develop fundraising strategy ,streamlining systems and procedures for communications to the donors in terms of feedback, on a regular basis
    b. They have been able to undertake effective research to generate knowledge in the field of Mental Retardation.
    c. Provision of efficient and safe transport services to the students attending AMC.

    Diya Foundation participation in the Word 10K 2012 was a grand success.

    The event facilitated them to raise a figure of Rs 6, 95,000.

    This amount was used to impact the lives of 51 trainees and 18 staff

    They participated the first time in the World 10K last year. They only had the objective of creating awareness on the status of pre-school education in Karnataka and encourage the community to actively participate in public schooling

    Through the 10K they were able to gather around 12 7 runners for their cause, who raised funds. Akshara Foundation were able to raise over Rs 5.5 Lakh through this event. The funds raised has been utilized in the pre-school programme which provides pre-school education to more than 6600 children studying in over 330 Anganwadis in Bangalore
