We plan to foster latent talent development of street and working children living in our full care residential centres through an organised programme. The programme includes training workshops for children focusing on dance, dramatics, singing and comparing. This will help in children showcasing their talent a wider platform thus, instilling a sense of self-esteem and confidence among them. The project will not only help in latent talent development of children but contribute towards raising funds to support other intervention and programmes of SBT for street and working children.
Salaam Baalak Trust (SBT) has a vision to create a nurturing environment that can foster normal physical and mental growth of street and neglected children. This will enable them to return to mainstream society and eventually contribute to their development. Salaam Baalak Trust (SBT) grew out of Nukkad – a street-based intervention programme that began working with street children in and around New Delhi Railway Station.SBT has been working to protect and nurture the dreams of street children in Delhi for more than 25 years.
