Work and Achievements
Indo-Global Social Service Society is a not for profit national development organisation established in 1961 to support development programmes across India, especially providing services to the vulnerable communities and grass root community based organizations. Our vision is establishing a humane social order based on the tenets of equity, liberty and justice in which the human rights and dignity of every individual is upheld. IGSSS reaches out to more than one lakh families every year through its programmes on Sustainable Livelihood, Disaster Risk Reduction, Gender Equity, Urban Poverty Reduction and Youth Development. As part of our livelihood framework IGSSS has been implementing water management programme both for safe drinking as well as for irrigation. Our humanitarian response to Kashmir flood affected population, Flood affected population of Assam and Conflict affected population of Assam are great achievements. Besides we rebuild livelihoods of 80,000 poor families in rural areas and around 20,000 urban families
