Work and Achievements
Reaching Hand Programs aims at bringing about physical, mental and social development of children, youth, parents, families and community at large. We empower and educate them and restore their sense of hope, self-worth, and human dignity.
GIRLS GLORY – A Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Program (WASH) - Addressing the grave issue of school dropouts by building & renovating toilets and providing safe and clean sanitation facility for the girls so that they can continue in school with confidence and dignity. Built 179 restrooms in 72 of our partner schools impacting more than 6,550 girls, 3,500 boys and 500+ teachers.
NEW HOME – A Child Protection and Care Center - Caters to 55 vulnerable children by providing the necessary support, protection, nutritious food, health care and quality education with 21st century life skills to be mainstreamed and become productive members of the society.
NAMMA SHALE – My School - Partnered with 75 Government schools across India to improve the quality of education by providing training and developing infrastructure facilities of the school. Impacted more than 15,300 Children aiming to impact 125,000.
PRATISHTA - A Skill Training & Placement Center - Is a skill training and placement center that supports vulnerable youths, especially young women from under privileged families/communities to be able to chase their dreams by helping them acquire employability and 21st century skills through blended learning methods, impacting the lives of more than 400 youths.
A-Planet First: An Eco-friendly bag manufacturing and training Project - It addresses the scorching issue of climate change by manufacturing eco-friendly retail bags that reduces the use of plastic. Aiming to train 300 youth to become entrepreneurs
