Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters and exclusion from healthcare in more than 65 countries. MSF offers assistance to people based on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
MSF was awarded the Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development in 1996 and the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999.
Healthcare is a necessity and not a commodity, so MSF India is working towards providing free Healthcare to the people who are in desperate need worldwide. They reach out to the places where no other organization is present and provide the required healthcare needed by the people in the demographic area. I personally think to scale up and increase their reach to more number of people who are in need of Healthcare, we must support them with how much ever we can so that the vulnerable people who requires healthcare can get access.
I would urge each and every individual to come forward and through their social responsibility contribute towards this noble cause.
