Our team is constituted by Ethan, Akhila and Darshan.
Ethan and Akhila are from Bangalore International School and Darshan is from Government Primary School in Mundad Village, Haliyal. Ethan is a 10th grader who is passionate about basketball and physics. He loves to read because books expose him to different perspectives in the world. He was a member of CherYsh’s champion Youth Care team, last year. Akhila is a 9 th grader who is also a writer, actor and a speaker. Passion is her mantra in whatever she does. Darshan is a 7th Grader, a regular attendee of CherYsh Shiksha and an athlete. His father is a driver and mother a housewife, who works in the CherYsh Community Kitchen where the laddoos are made.
We are an energetic and passionate Youth Care team and have pledged to run and raise funds towards providing a mid-day nutritious snack, peanut ‘laddoo’ to over a thousand children at CherYsh Shikshas - After School Learning Centres, every day. This laddoo, prepared by the women of CherYsh Community Kitchens, mothers of some Shiksha children, costs only Rs. 1.28 per laddoo but is a power-packed snack, their only one between their mid-day meal and dinner.
Funds required to provide this nutritious snack - INR 4,20,000 for one academic year.
Please help us to raise funds for this cause.
