Supporting Olympic and Paralympic athletes from across the country in their pursuit of sporting excellence.
Work and Achievements
GoSports Foundation is a non-profit venture working towards the development of India’s most talented emerging and elite athletes, competing in Olympic and Paralympic disciplines. We are joined by India’s only individual Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra, former Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid, All England Badminton Champion Pullela Gopichand on our Board of Advisors, and former physiotherapist of the Indian Cricket Team John Gloster as our Head of Sports Science.
Our mission to Professionalise Sports in India is premised on the belief that sporting champions are created when the right talent gets the right support at the right time. Kidambi Srikanth’s rise from World No. 338 to World No. 1, Dipa Karmakar’s 4th place finish after becoming the first Indian woman to qualify for Gymnastics at the Olympics and Devendra Jhajharia’s second record-breaking Paralympic gold medal are all journeys we have been privileged to support the athletes on.
All the athletes are supported under one of the three Programmes:
1) Rahul Dravid Athlete Mentorship Programme - A first-of-its-kind mentorship model that supports the most talented elite athletes with financial assistance and invaluable mentorship from Rahul Dravid.
2) Para Champions Programme - The only organisation that supports differently-abled athletes in their pursuit of sporting excellence
3) Abhinav Bindra Targeting Performance Programme - Unique long-term athlete development initiative designed to scientifically groom future champions across Olympic sports.
