Work and Achievements
Roko Thalassemia Bike Rally organized on 7th January 2018 from Ambience Mall to Artemis Hospital Gurugram, to create awareness on Thalassemia, followed by a free Thalassemia check-up camp at Mahavir Charitable Hospital Faridabad.
Free Thalassemia check-up Camps has been organised by NTWS till date at Jalandhar, Dehradun, Chittorgarh, Bhatinda, Rohtak, Indore, Bhopal, Bangalore, Gwalior, Orissa and Karnal. Patients visiting these Camps receives Defrijet & Kelfer medicines free.
Thalassemia awareness lectures was organized in 3 schools in Gurgaon on 31st January and first week of February 2018. Free Thalassemia HPLC Test done among the school children.
A Seminar on Thalassemia was organized at Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi, on 4th May. International Thalassemia Day 2018 was observed on 5th May 2018 at e-o-d Adventure Park, New Delhi. Around 300 Thalassemia family members enjoyed in the hot summer sun. All the children received return gifts.
NTWS organized 30 Blood donation camps till date and collected around 1800 units of blood. We are helping Thalassemia patients undergoing BMT operation and recently 12 patients got BMT done through us. Every month 2nd Sunday free Thalassemia Clinic is held at Tilak Nagar, New Delhi where Doctors from various hospitals gives free services to the Thalassemics, free medicines are distributed and 60 Infusion pumps were given free to the needy.

Fund Utilisation Statement
Funds will be utilized for the medicines of the poor patients and Bone Marrow Transplant operation of the Thalassemics
