Work and Achievements
Red Paws Rescue has been helping street dogs of Delhi for the past 8 years. Our main work includes spay and neuter of street dogs, feeding 80-100 dogs daily and providing on the spot medical treatment to those in need. Our small team of 10 people try to cover as much area as we can with the given resources but try to focus our energy and funds only on spay and neuter as we believe that it is the only answer to their suffering. Our team conducts 30-40 surgeries every month depending on funds available to us that month from private vets and make sure that the dogs are dropped back to the same spot we pick them up after they have been fully recovered. Once put back the dogs that we spay are feed daily by us or by volunteers in that area to make sure that they live happy and healthy lives.
We have also being conducting adoptions of desi puppies through the years and have been successful in placing over 150 puppies who are now living in a home and off the streets. Our hope is that we can together build a better and safer home for our friends on the streets, one in which they all lead a happy and healthy bag.
