I am running to raise money that can provide children a safe space, a chance at a better education, and a future they never envisioned.
Children do not have access to basic education because of inequalities that originate in sex, health and cultural identity (ethnic origin, language, religion). These children find themselves on the margins of the education system and do not benefit from learning that is vital to their intellectual and social development. Children, who are still driven by the desire to study, are faced with issues like inadequate infrastructure, unskilled or lack of teachers.
Concern India Foundation reaches out to the rural, semi-rural and urban slum communities to impart structured education to underprivileged children. It includes; Pre- school, Formal education, after School Programmes, Digital education, Life Skill Education, Professional Education and Strengthening School Infrastructure. Concern also works for children with special needs and help them develop to their maximum potential.
The end-goal of animal welfare is to continually ensure that animals are treated humanely and responsibly, especially under the care of humans. Because a sustainable future for the planet can only be achieved if both animals and people are part of the solution.
In the middle of all this neglect and cruelty, Krishna Ashram is an organization that is providing a safe refuge to the suffering animals. In the last 30 years they have rescued and cared for thousands of sick and injured stray animals.
I appeal to everyone to generously donate and help me support Concern India Foundation’s Education Programmes and Krishna Ashram’s facilities for Animals. Every small step enabled with your contribution will go a long way in making a difference in the lives of many!
