Our Mission

English medium education to the deaf to give them confidence in life after they finish school.

Work and Achievements

Started in 1964 by Dhun and Dorab Adenwalla, the parents of a deaf child, we provide English medium education to all students from Nursery to class 12. We are an equal opportunity school open to students of all ethnic, religions, social and financial backgrounds.

Most students go on to complete undergraduate studies at the very least, and are well placed to successfully advance their careers. We focus on co-curricular activities such as Art, Mime, Dance, Music, Yoga, Sports and Excursions. All children use the best digital hearing aids available. Most of which are sponsored by International Monetary Fund, Washington; Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, Rotary Club of Calcutta Mahanagar and Pathways to Children.

Each student costs the school Rs. 48,000/- per year. At present, 100% of our students are subsidized by the school and sponsors, in part or in full. We are a registered charitable society which relies significantly on the generosity of our well-wishers (80G benefits are available).

Despite being hearing impaired, all our children are always a happy lot, smiling, friendly and yes, like all children, mischievous too!

Join us to educate and impact the futures of children...
