Work and Achievements
Established in 2010 with 3 children, Icha Foundation today provides shelter, food, education, clothing, medical assistance, and therapy to 18 children with varying disabilities such as ADHD and cerebral palsy. We also provides skills training and employment in Kondakarla village. We have tie ups with pediatricians, psychiatrists, neurologists, and orthopedicians to monitor our children's’ well-being. Based on various conditions suffered by our children, our doctors recommend medications/ surgeries/ treatment that have long-term and short-term benefits. Icha is managed mainly by its founder Madhu Tugnait with a team of caretakers, therapists, and special education teachers. Icha is planning to expand its capabilities in the near future to build a primary school in Kondakarla village that will serve the children of poor communities nearby.
