Work and Achievements

Our main programs, in Karnataka, Bangalore support 150+ children with disabilities and 700+ youth annually. Can you help us reach more ?

i. EDUCATION FOR ALL - "Shikshana Yellarigu"

We aim to include all children into mainstream education and work to build the capacities of teachers and raise awareness on the importance of inclusive education. Our Bridge centers provide activity-based learning with suitable education materials, continuous physiotherapy support, mid-day meals and impart daily living skills to the children.

  • Vehicle to pickup and drop the children
  • Maintance cost for one year (teachers and supportive staff honorarium)
  • Adventure programme at honnemardu (Swimming, boating, mountain climbing and camping in the island)
  • Cultural and sports events.
  • Capacity building training to parents on therapy and daily living skills, laws and schemes.

 Our Costs

Rs 4000/- per month helps us provide Nutritious Food, Education, Travel Support, Physiotherapy and medical equipment for one child.

We wish to provide 50 more children with disabilities an inclusive and enjoyable learning experience through our Bridge Centers!

ii. SKILL DEVELOPMENT - "Learn to Earn"

Supports youth from marginalised backgrounds and equips them with skills that lead to employment.Our centers across five different locations in Karnataka provide trainings in English Proficiency, Basic Computer Education and Soft skills.

Rs 3500/- per month supports expenses of training and upskilling one young adult. 

 

Fund Utilisation Statement

Donations received will provide inclusive education for children with special needs and skill development for youth from marginalized communities.
